This is such a fun, easy quilt to make, and it will work with any layer cake.  At times I procrastinate (yeah, really it’s the truth).  This happens with “non-quilting” things such as Christmas shopping.  I have a number of nieces and nephews whom I love dearly and always want to make them something with which to snuggle up.  This is a great last-minute gift, as it goes together quickly and highlights the fabrics – in this case, grays and taupes of winter.  I added a gray minky backing because I know they love the soft feel.  Whether you make this for a friend, a niece/nephew, or you, it will go together EFFORTLESS-ly!
