As a kid swimming in the backyard pool, I saw a lot of “sewing needles” flying around.  Yes, that’s what we called them.  I didn’t even know they were actually called Dragonflies until I was a young adult!  I knew they wouldn’t bite me so I’d allow them to sit on my arm while I studied their wings, legs and tail.  I always wanted them around me because I knew they’d eat the mosquitos and protect me.  With this quilt, you’ll want them around you too, but they won’t be eating anything!  You can make them as Daring and dauntless as you’d like.  Add crystals to bedazzle your newest friends.  I hope you enjoy playing with these “sewing needles” while using your sewing needles.
