When my son was younger, my husband would take him out trick-or-treating each year for Halloween while I stayed behind and handed out candy.  I felt like I got the best part of the deal in this partnership because I was able to see all the neighborhood kiddos in their get-ups, and I could stay inside a warm home!  I recall one year being especially grateful when it was freezing rain.  I felt certain no children would be out trick-or-treating.  But, lo and behold, a group of dads got together with the little ones and took them around the neighborhood.  They returned home frozen with pink cheeks and a bag full of treats.  Thank goodness for dads!  I hope you will enjoy making this fun table runner and that you can recall a memorable Halloween in your life!
